I’m sorry for not listening, but I didn’t understand what you were saying. I’ve never been to pre-K or daycare. So I don’t understand sit down, criss cross applesauce, or what it mean to raise my hand?

I’m sorry for not knowing my letters
I’m sorry for not knowing my numbers
I’m sorry for not knowing my name
I’m sorry for not knowing my colors
I’m sorry for not knowing where my body parts are

I’m sorry for not knowing almost everything
But if you give me a chance, keep teaching me, keep believing in me, keep helping me, forgive me when I’m bad at times, and love me I’ll show you I can be smart. It will just take me a little longer to get to smart.
